A Bit About Me

I am an industrial engineer from Jerusalem. At the age of 13, I moved to China on my own, and I subsequently spent one year as an exchange student in Colorado as part of the Kennedy-Lugar program. It's a one academic year program for international students to advance the U.S. foreign policy goals of promoting civil society, youth leadership development, and lasting ties between Americans and the people of participating countries.


I completed my undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, where I earned a degree in industrial engineering in 2021. At Northwestern, I concentrated on data analytics and transportation logistics.


My global experiences and cosmopolitan perspective serve as the fabric for my life and career goals. My purpose is to help merge my background in system designs with my passion for data analysis along with transportation logistics to improve company decisions. 

Investement Portfolio

I am a big believer in cryptocurrency and the positive impact it can have on bridging the divide between social classes. Through cryptocurrency, we can give voice to the voiceless, and promote financial freedom.


Over the past five years, I have developed numerous models to help me analyze the impact of the proof of stake and proof of work technologies on making crypto more accessible in the market. My most recent work focused on using data scrapping algorithms to analyze the impact that Twitter and Reddit have had on making crypto a more accessible financial asset.

Stocks & Crypto Portfolio Management 

  • Actively manage a personal six-figure and eight-figure Roth IRA portfolios of stocks, bonds, ETFs and cryptocurrencies by utilizing
    Monte Carlo simulation to craft different exit market strategies

  • Developed a cryptocurrency trading algorithm that considers the sentiment of trending Reddit posts on cryptocurrency subreddits

  • Designed a tracker sheet on the performance of financial analysts by analyzing 60,000 buy & sell recommendations over 10-year period

Business Systems Analysis at Illinois Tollway

  • Processed, and analyzed over 6 million tollway data to identify mismatches between expected and traveling vehicles type at 30 plazas’

  • Increased generated revenue by $150,000 in 3 months from missed revenue by developing a VBA and Power query so the readers in the plazas can better detect and analyze the tags in the vehicles going through the plaza

  • Investigated a potential $30 million increase in revenue by designing a dynamic road network environment that combines traffic image processing with interval data for dynamic path optimization for better traffic management

Client Project Challenge at UChicago Biology Department

  • Analyzed the Door-In-Door-Out (DIDO) information data for the Department of Neurology to simulate the stroke code activation process in the emergency room, given the current inefficiencies in hospitals’ stroke patient treatment

  • Collected data, processed, and analyzed hospital data and simulation models to identify areas of improvement in the stroke patient treatment process, leveraging Simio to model how changes in decision nodes affected stroke treatment time

  • Design an experiment of 31 factors and a four-level factor, using Minitab, to analyze the effect of these suggestions

  • Successfully reduced stroke patient transfer time by 40 minutes and increased the under 90-minute discharge rate by 20%

  • Improved healthcare quality by redesigning stroke activation process to reduce DIDO time for patients in healthcare facilities

Algorithm Development Fellowship at Para

  • Developed a mathematical model in Python to optimize the number of nurse-shift matches for 300 nurses

  • Designed a stochastic optimizing model to increase the probability that nurses fill shifts with 55% improvement from the original rate

  • Implemented two optimization models factoring in nurse availability and geographical location to mitigate a shortage of nurses due to an influx of Covid-19 patients

  • Designed a greedy-heuristic algorithm to cut down on optimization run time for 30,000 datasets with an optimal average performance

IE Fellowship at Northwestern IE Department

  • Awarded a $4,000 grant to investigate the impact of labor trafficking allegations on companies’ financials relative to companies without allegations across three industries 

  • Conducted the data analysis and hypothesis testing on fifty-five companies using R to analyze their financial data

  • Created visually impactful dashboards in Excel for data presentation

Quant Trader Intern at Sahem Co, West-Bank

  • Analyzed cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets for the 48 companies listed on Palestine Exchange.

  • Developed forecasting tools using Excel to analyze revenue variance and stock trends.

  • Presented three stock pitches at the annual company meeting, where all three stock recommendations were adopted for a $10,000 portfolio.
